Alert accuracy benchmarking, notification latency, low-light identification tests
About
I run repeatable camera tests across daylight, dusk, and true dark, logging detections, latency, and identification clarity so readers see exactly what works and why.
Core Beliefs
Security is a measurement problem: fewer false alerts and faster, clearer IDs beat feature lists.
Background
My first neighborhood test taught me more than any spec sheet. A windy week triggered hundreds of false alerts. I built a yard rig with timers, a bike loop, and IR markers to control variables. Since then, I log every detection with timestamps and push-latency so readers can see the evidence.
Perspective
I prefer on-device AI with exportable logs and local storage over cloud-first ecosystems.
